WHAT WE OFFER

Klein ISD pathways, a sequence of courses aligned to a potential future college major and career field, prepare secondary students with technical, academic, and employability skills for success in higher education and the workplace. We promise our students the opportunity to explore various pathways that include coursework and experiences that appeal to students unique talents, interests, and abilities. It takes students, educators and families working together to successfully navigate all of the many opportunities available. Each pathway includes at least one endorsement.

Endorsements

Endorsements, included in every Klein ISD Pathway, are required by the state & provide students with in-depth knowledge of a subject area. They are comprised of approximately 4 courses grouped together by interest or skill.

  • Endorsements are categorized by Arts & Humanities, Business & Industry, Multidisciplinary Studies, Public Service, or Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (S.T.E.M.).
  • Students must choose an endorsement to follow when entering 9th grade, but they may change or add an endorsement at any time.
  • The same course may count for more than 1 endorsement.
